Obituary of Lorraine Beatrice Fox

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Beatrice Fox, of Flin Flon, Manitoba, who passed away peacefully at East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Lorraine is survived by her son, David Webber; James Fox, her daughter, Alana (Phil) LeBlanc; and her grandchildren, Lorraine, Austin, and Chase. She is also survived by her siblings: Joyce (Arden) Wells, Elaine (Walter) Langenbach, Albert (Val) Webber, Ed (Donna) Webber, and Donna (Claude) Biever, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who held a special place in her heart.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Marion Webber, as well as her siblings: Jim Webber, Shirley Weibe, Bill Webber, Pat Bernhardt, and Joan McDonald.

Lorraine was a vibrant woman who cherished time spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed outings, particularly those with her daughter and granddaughter, and will be fondly remembered for the memorable birthday trip to Calgary. Lorraine’s electric scooter allowed her to remain active, and she loved getting out and about in her community, where she was well-liked and respected by all who knew her. Above all, Lorraine treasured the quiet moments spent at home, enjoying visits from those she loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the home of her sister Elaine. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Arthritis Society.

Lorraine’s warmth, kindness, and positive spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
