Obituary of Karren Patricia Lee Willicome

1937 - 2011

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Karren Patricia Lee Willicome announces her passing at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook on Sunday, April 3, 2011.

Karren was born on December 3, 1937 in Raymond, Alberta. She was the third child of Lovett Rowley Lee and Effie Betts Lee. Karren married Jack and they have four children. Lee Ann, Lyle, Christine and David. They have 17 grandchildren and at the time of writing, nearly five great grandchildren. Nothing brings Karren more joy than having her family around her. The more there are the better she likes it. She has always enjoyed going to church. She loves her friends and the love you have shown her and Jack.

Karren leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Jack of 53 plus years; daughter Lee Ann Willicome, Lyle Willicome (Barb), Christine Brehm (Don), David Willicome (Theresa), and 17 loving grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Lee, sister Gail Spiers, father Lovett Rowley Lee, mother Effie Betts and one grandchild Isaac.

A funeral service for Karren will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cranbrook. Her Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Karren may do so to their charity of choice. A reception at the church will follow the Interment.
