Obituary of Grace Jorgensen

1919 - 2011

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Grace Jorgensen announces her passing on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the F. W. Green Home in Cranbrook at 91 years of age.

Grace was born on October 15, 1919 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She is survived by her daughters Fay Spence and Teresa Wishart, her grandchildren Don, Jim and Scott, 7 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson. She was predeceased by her husband Werner Jorgensen.

A private family gathering to celebrate Grace's life will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Grace may do so to the: Canadian Cancer Society, 19 - 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2L9.

Grace's family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers in the F. W. Green Memorial Home who took care of Grace for so many years.
