Obituary of Eleanor Leone Cox

1935 - 2011

It is with deep sorrow that Eleanor's family announces her passing on May 8th, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Eleanor died, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family and friends.

Eleanor was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother who lived a full and beautiful life. She is survived by her husband Howard, sons Randy (Janice) and Greg (Caroline), daughter Kim and her mother Marion, brothers Terry, Herb, Dennis, Francis, Norman, Greg and her sister Janet. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Mathew, Nicole, Gabriel, Brenna and Jamie.

She was Predeceased by her Father Henry and brothers Don, Ken and Gordon.

Eleanor loved life, travel and walks in the community forest with her friends. A kindred spirit, a wonderful attitude and a positive outlook on life, Eleanor will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McPherson Funeral Service, 2200 2nd Street South, Cranbrook on Wednesday May 11, 2011 at 1:00 pm. A private family interment will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in honour of Eleanor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society- 19-9th Ave. South, Cranbrook, B.C. V1C 2L9
