Our deepest sympathies go out to Lindis and family. Wayne was a real gentleman in both words and actions. He was a classmate for many years and then a friendly face whenever we met in Kimberley for visits and reunions. He always had a smile, a joke or a happy memory. The good times will always be remembered as Wayne's contributions were many and his interests in the outdoors and wildlife have become his legacy. He will be missed by all of us. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Our hearfelt sympathy to Wayne's lovely wife and family. Wayne was one of the moving forces behind tshe organization of reunions of our 1958 class. HIs great sense of family, friends, and community were never unnoticed. The float for the 1958 50th reunion was the result of a lot of work from the 1958 class, and Wayne was truly one of the pillars of that group. He will be missed greatly by all of us.

My deepest sympathies to Lindis and Family. Wayne worked with my mother at City Hall many years ago and as a result I got to know him. Whenever I came home for Julyfest he was always one of the people you just had to see. He always asked about Mom. He will be missed !!

To Lindis and family:
I was so sorry to hear about Wayne's passing. He was a classmate throughout our Kimberley school years. I had a great deal of respect for him. He was one of those "quiet leaders" that always came up with the right thing to say or do. I also have fond memories of Wayne and some of his hunting and fishing pals getting us through a lot Sam Muraro's Chemistry classes without any of us having to open a book. Mr. Muraro was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Wayne and his outdoor pals would simply start talking about where they had hunted on the weekend, or where the fish were biting. Before you knew it the bell had rung and we were FREE!! Wayne stayed in Kimberley and he was a great worker for the City of Kimberley and an outstanding Ambassador for all of the East Kootenays. He will be missed by many, many classmates and friends. But, more important, he will be missed by all of his family. However, I know you will have lots of great memories to help you through this time of sorrow and heartache. Rest in peace Wayne.

Wayne was very special, a good friend to my Uncle John and a great husband and father. I will always have fond memories of our Christmas Eve visits we did as children. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
