Obituary of Arthur Ellison

1926 - 2011

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Arthur Ellison announces his passing on June 8, 2011 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 84 years of age.

Arthur was born on December 16, 1926 in Wyandotte, Michigan, USA. As a small child, Arthur's family moved to Hamilton, Ontario where he lived most of his life. An electrician by trade, Arthur first worked in his father's business and later moved into the factories of Hamilton. He married, raised 3 children and eventually retired. Soon, after turning 80 years old, Arthur moved to Kimberley, British Columbia joining his son Scott where he lived out the remainder of his days.

Arthur is survived by his sons Robert and Scott and his grandson Bradley. Arthur was predeceased by his wife Hilda Marie (Pearson) and his son Harvey.

The Ellison family would like to thank the people of Kimberley and everyone that has touched Arthur's life during the last 4 years. Your generous, caring spirit embraced Arthur from the moment he arrived and gave us many evenings filled with friends and laughter.

An Interment with Hilda will take place at a later date.
