Donna I just read in the Townsman of your husbands passing. Sending our sympathy and thinking og you. Sounds like you had one wonderfull fella there! Reading the comments I see one from a Pommier and one from the Pensons. Cindy was my niece Jacquie Pommiers best friend. You are such a unique and wonderful gal Donna, I am always so happy to run into you in town. Come Spring we will have to meet for lunch. Your classmates Barbara and Wayne Stone

Oh Donna.....our whole family is so very sorry for your loss.... and saddened to know that we will not see Bid when we come back to the cabin this Spring. We were always so happy when we saw him making his way over for a coffee and a visit. Sometimes he'd stoop down and pick whatever flower was blooming and give that to me as he came through the door. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a story to tell..... a sense of humour that was unfailing! I can't put into words how much we will miss that! He had such a good heart!
One of the favorite times of the year was in April when all the boys would meet at the cabin for the weekend to get wood. Bid would go up the mountain with them and in years past insist on helping them cut the trees down and load the trucks. As he got frailer he would still go with them, point out the trees, watch while they cut them down, and then sit on a chair while they split the wood back at the cabin.....all the while keeping them entertained with his jokes and stories. It just won't be the same somehow.
He loved you and his family with all his heart and had a will to live like no one else we know. He'd always say " I'm not ready to go yet....but when I do.... I'm taking the top job because you know.... Heaven's for Bid".....!!
He was family to us and we will miss him very much! Donna... you are too! Please... when we are out at the cabin....come for coffee and a visit anytime you wish. At this sad time we want you to know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and hugging you close to our hearts!
Special Love from the Ramsden-Wood and Latham families:heart:

So sorry for your loss Donna. Bid was such an amazing strong man. I will forever remember his laugh and him having the biggest smile on his face...always cracking a joke or tease. I wish i could find the picture of him with the red tinsel hair wig and sunglasses on at the staff party...
I know he will be watching over you as he loved you with all his heart.

I have many fond childhood memories of time spent with Bid and Lydia, camping, trips to town, sleepovers. The list goes on and on. I will cherish those memories and am so glad Lydia was there with her Dad when he passed and he wasn't alone. Rest in Peace Mr. Eyford. XO

I didn't know Bid's real name was Barney! Bid was a good man who called it what it was. Good qualities - that's for sure. Our condolences to the entire family - and especially to you Donna. You have a large family to support you.
