Condolences to all the family, Dick was always a happy camper. We first met in Creston when him and Pat went down to the flats in Creston to hunt ducks. They were the ugliest tasting ducks, being from a slough, but we ate them anyway after a good soak in vinegar water overnite. No matter what anyone did, it was fine with Dick. Stay well, Inez

I was very sad to hear of Dick's passing. The Robison family was an important part of my childhood as I grew up in Creston and Cranbrook. I remember noisy, chaotic visits at their home in Kimberley. No matter how long between visits, Dick and Gloria always had open arms and welcoming smiles for my Mom and Dad (Inez and Pat Schuster) as well as my sister and brother (Cheryl and Steve) and me. Hugs and condolences to everyone. Rest in peace Dick.

I am so sorry to hear of you dad's passing. I haven't seen your dad in years but I do remember his big smile and gentle way. I met your mom and dad many, many years ago when I was in Youth Bowling. They were always so kind to me. Your dad sat next to me on my very first plane ride when I was attending a Youth Bowling tournament down at the coast. Such a nice memory. Also, I remember seeing your parents out at Premier Lake camping. Just so you know, as young child I used to think your family was rich because your trailer had an awning. Such a silly thing and I had shared this story with my family. To this day whenever we see a trailer with an awning, the comment is made "they must be rich". And so, all I really mean to say is our lives are richer by having great parents and happy memories to relive. Take care of the ones you love and make many more happy memories.

I met your dad when I was a clerk at a local drug store. One day upon chatting he said his hands were sore from all the years of working heavy equipment and we chatted a bit and it turns out he knew my dad from the 60's working road building for the contractor "Peter Kewuit". My dad was also a lodge member so whenever he came into the store we would have a little chat if time permitted. He was a kind, friendly man and I'm sorry for your loss.
Heather.

Dick was a dear man who was a great friend to my parents (Bob & Marg Faust). I remember fondly so many gatherings with the Robinsons...to all of Dick & Gloria's children, my heart breaks for you and I will always remember your Dad's kindness, his wonderful sense of humour and of course his love for friends and family. Thinking of you all with love...

To Rick Robison, son. Sorry to come across this obituary about your father. I just googled to see if I could find you, and came across this. I was wondering where you are these days. Knew you in the 1970s in Vancouver. A lot of friends would be interested to have word of you.
