Obituary of Vittorio F. Rota

1928 - 2010

It is with great sadness that the family of Vittorio Rota announces he passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital at 81 years of age.

Vic was predeceased by his loving wife Agnes in 2008. He leaves to mourn his passing, his children: Bruce (Julie), Scott (Monika), Shannon (Alan), Stephen (Karen); grandchildren: Matt, Jennifer, Alice, Jordan, Brianna, Brittany and James; as well as his brothers, sisters, numerous other relatives and friends.

A private family Interment will take place at the Kimberley Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life and time of remembrance in honour of Vic will be held at 9636 - Porteous Road in Wycliffe on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Vic's honour may do so to the: Palliative Care at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, 13 - 24th Avenue North, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 3H9.
