Dear Darlene, Robbie, Faye and families;
I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mother, Aunt Betty. I have very fond memories of our visits to Kimberley to see your parents , both when I was a child with my Dad and Mom, and also as an adult. One memory in particular stands out. Jim and I were just 8 years old when we ventured alone to go to the movie "The Blob" at a local theater. We lasted about 5 minutes, and scared to death, we ran back to your place. Your parents always made us feel so welcome.
I also fondly remember the times we spent with both Pete and Betty in Arizona. They loved the sun, and I often think of how much they enjoyed their time it in Trailer Village, now Mesa Spirit.
Losing a parent is perhaps one of the hardest loss to bear. I know that even now, 20 + years later, I still miss both of mine. I know the pain you are feeling now, and I am so sorry for your loss.
