Obituary of Marcus William Burvill

September 22, 1943 - June 30, 2011

Mark Burvill passed away suddenly at his home in Kimberley, British Columbia on Wednesday, June 30, 2011 at 67 years of age.

Left to mourn his passing are his devoted wife of 31 years, Ellen; three sons: Allan of Camrose, AB, Robert of Edmonton, AB, and Wayne (Sherri) Sutter of Steinbach, MB; two daughters: Kathie (Leroy) Jones of Edmonton, AB, and Trish (Steven) Herzberg of Cranbrook, BC; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter; two brothers: Richard (Darlene) of Stony Plain, AB, and Jody (Anna) of Kimberley, BC; two sisters: Marion (Peter) Stangowitz of Camrose, AB, and Janice Pflughaupt, of Edmonton, AB; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Mark was predeceased by his parents Bill & Florence Burvill.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Thursday July 7, at 2:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Home (2200 - 2nd St. South Cranbrook, BC). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cranbrook Hospital, COPD Foundation, or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
