Obituary of June Margaret Browne

1931 - 2011

It is with great sorrow that the family of June Margaret Browne announce her passing at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook on July 3, 2011 at 80 years of age.

June was born on May 18, 1931 in Vancouver, British Columbia. First and foremost June was devoted to her family. She always enjoyed her time spent with her family. June had a quick wit and great expressions. She lived an active life and was involved with golfing, downhill and cross-country skiing, curling, fishing, walking, hiking, traveling, camping, her Stitch and Bitch Group and Red Hat Ladies.

June is survived by her husband Grant, her daughter Heather Stone (Ted), son Clark Millner (Vera McMaster), granddaughters Paula Stone (Anthony Brown) and Alison Stone (Rob Piaszczyk), grandson Joshua Millner (Corey), granddaughter Nicole Millner (Phil Hall), grandson Christopher Millner, great grandsons Daijen Millner and Braxton Brown, sister Bertha Foyle as well as extended family, daughter Patricia Anderson, son Terry Browne and granddaughter Shaelysse Anderson. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Jean Clark and her sister Norma and brother-in-law George Hollingum.

A memorial service for June will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Kimberley on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
