Obituary of Harry Carl Johnson

May 4, 1927 - July 6, 2011

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Harry Carl Johnson announces his passing on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the F. W. Green Memorial Home in Cranbrook at 84 years of age. Harry was born on May 4, 1927 in Jaffray, BC on the family homestead. As a young boy he worked at the Galloway Mill. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors, worked at Fabro's Mill for many years and did his sawfiling out of his basement. Harry was predeceased by his wife Hilda May on October 10, 2010. Harry is survived by his children Wayne (Christine), Terry (Marina), Lori (Ian) and 3 grandchildren Staci, Jordan and Kevin and his sister Evelyn (Sylvester) MacNeil.

There will be a Memorial Tea for Harry at Joseph Creek Care Village on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at Serenity Gardens in Westlawn Cemetery.
