It is with tremendous sorrow that the family of Lucienne announces her sudden passing on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Kimberley, British Columbia at 90 years of age.
She was born December 28, 1922 in Edmundston; the daughter of Victoire Pelletier and Jean Baptiste Coté. Lucienne and Don lived in Edmundston, Port Cartier, Quebec City, Calgary and for the last few years, Kimberley. Lucienne's family was the love of her life. She lived and enjoyed life to the fullest, looking forward to every day. She enjoyed going for walks, playing pool, playing cards and watching curling and hockey on TV.
Lucienne is survived by her children Linda (Murray), Carol (Carson), Tom (Nicole), Donna (Jacques), Susan (Bob), David (Louise) and Marc; her sisters Jeannine and Thérèse and all her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Don, who was her loving partner for 67 years; her son Bill, sisters Marie, Georgiana, Yvonne and Florence; and her brothers Paul, Maurice, her twin Lucien and Leonide. We love you forever Mom, Gramma, Lucienne.
A celebration of Lucienne's life will be held in Port Cartier this summer on August 17,2013. Donations in her honour may be made to the: The War Amps Key Tag Service - Quebec, 606 - Rue Cathcart, Bureau 530, Montreal, Quebec, H3B 1K9.
