Obituary of Donald Oliver Johnson

1965 - 2011

It is with great sorrow that the family of Donald Oliver Johnson announces his passing on Friday, August 19, 2011 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 45 years of age.

Don was born on December 1, 1965 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He will be sadly missed and remembered by those he worked with. Don had a great sense of humour. He liked to handle situations with a joke. Don cared about everyone, and treated his friends like family.

Don is survived by his loving wife Nikki; his daughters: Michelle (Evan) and their children Carter and Emma; Jessica (Jarrod) and their children Sydney and Kodi; Ashley (Jon) and their children Javan and Nathanael; Sharil; his mother Georgina; his brothers John (Brenda) and Tim (Nadine); and his sisters Irene (Brent) and Debbie (Henry); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Wilbert in 2004.

A memorial service for Don will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Don may do so to the BC Lung Association.
