Arthur George Thomas Reeve "Tom" 1923 - 2015 With much sadness, our family wishes to announce the passing of Tom Reeve on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Dad was born in London, England on July 23, 1923. Our father served in the Royal Air Force as an armourer during WWII. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 with his wife and eldest daughter. We were very blessed to have a father, dad and papa like Tom. He was a true gentleman and respected by many. Tom had a 25 year career in the insurance industry as a broker and was a partner in the Sivorite Reeve Insurance Agency. He was a strong supporter and dedicated member of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles (F.O.E.). Tom was predeceased by his wife Betty. He is survived by his sister Doll in London, England; his three children Helen (Barry), David (Anna-Lisa) and Jennifer (Ken); and five grandchildren Brett, Shaun, Bryan, Steven and Kaylin. At Tom's request there will be no celebration of life service. A Poem of "PaPa" By Anna-Lisa Reeve As we look around and gaze, Our "PaPa" was the one to amaze! Tho we will miss him and all his charm, He always woke up before his alarm! Tom was a happy and really funny chap, Who had many jokes and always would adapt. Laughing and smiling was his favorite game, But he didn't want any attention, glory or fame. He was proud to be an eagle and crib player and more, And his sense of humor would never waiver or bore. For all who knew him, they would say he's sweet, And I agree -- he was a treat!! We were lucky to have had a dad and father, Who really wasn't too much of a bother. To our "father" forever and more, We love you and will always adore. Now with "Mum" brings joy and glee, Together again, as it should be! The End. Papa, we will miss you and will cherish our memories together forever. Love your family. Thank you The Reeve family would like to send a heartfelt "thank you" to everyone for the love and support during our time of loss. A special thanks to Dr. Brown, Dr. Joubert and to CTC Resources (Tanya), as well as to the Emergency and 3rd floor nurses at East Kootenay Regional Hospital for their care and attention to our father, Tom Reeve. In addition, we would like to thank ALL Joseph Creek staff (especially to Allan, Claire and the crew in the Lakit pod) for their unconditional devotion and support over the past 4 years. Your kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion have touched our hearts. We are eternally grateful. Warm regards, The Reeve Family Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
