Obituary of John Odin Forseth

1953 - 2011

It is with great sorrow that the family of John Odin Forseth announces his passing on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 58 years of age.

John was born on January 27, 1953 in Vancouver, British Columbia. John loved his family very much. John was a very proficient chef. In his many years in the hospitality industry, John made a lot of good friends. He was never without a story or a joke to tell. John loved to go fishing and camping. He also had a great love for animals.

John leaves to mourn his passing his mother Maureen Forseth, his brothers Dave (Glenda) and their children Patrick and John, Mike (Lenore) and their children Rachel and Erik, Peter (Rose) and Mark (Julie), his sister Kathleen (Geoff) Carson and their daughter Amanda, his former wife Rita Boehme, and his great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father John Conrad in October 1998.

At John's request there will be no funeral service. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of John may do so to the: Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon, Cranbrook Unit, #101, 105 - 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2M1.
