Obituary of James Robert Lewis

1941 - 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of Jim Lewis announces his passing on Saturday, September 3, 2011.

Jim was born on January 12, 1941 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. Jim was an avid outdoorsmen. In his free time he loved to camp, fish and hunt with Ellie and his friends. He spent much of his time running his dogs Bear and Griz. Jim will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.

Jim is survived by his loving companion Ellie; his sons Jason (Christie) and their children Cole, Carter and Sophie; Ryan and his daughter Paige; and Darrin. Jim was predeceased by his parents Tommy and Pearl Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Jim may do so to the East Kootenay S.P.C.A., Box 2, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H6.
