Deanie and family,
I heard of Bob's passing. We are on the road with our MH. Ditto Vicker's comments on Bob (Tom was my troopmate.) Bob and I were together at Port Alberni and Crescent Valley detachment. He was a great guy and solid as they come. I regret we didn't stay in touch over the years since your marriage, but know my thoughts were always positive where you guys were concerned. He'll be missed.
Best Regards and my deepest sympathy,
Jack Randle

Dear Deanie and Family: Glory and I were so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. You have our deepest sympathy. We both have very fond memories of Bob. I remember our many days of car pooling to work from Sherwood Park to the Crime Lab. Most days were just the usual drive, but I do remember a couple where on a Friday we may have got a little side tracked. It was all mostly good times and enjoyable times. It was a great pleasure Deanie having known you and Bob and having worked with Bob at CDL Edmonton.
Glory and I extend our most sincere condolences to you Deanie and family.
Vince & Glory Gudmundson.

Deanie, so very sorry to hear the news about Bob. Starting out in the first CDLE building we nimbered less than 15( prob closer to10). Although we were coworkers it seemed more like a family. So many fine memories, both at work & social. Bob was one special person and we all will miss him. Glenn Deobald

Dear Deanie. I'm so sorry to hear of Bob' passing. I went to school with Bob, he was always fun to be with. Do you remember the Crows Nest celebration that the 4 of us went to when you lived in Sherwood Park? I enjoyed that so much.
My daughter Brenda remembers your daughter when they were in the same class.
Three of us from the same class as Bob was in just go back from a sentimental weekend in Blairmore.
Frank passed away three years ago..
My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Hi Deanie. I am so proud to have known Bob and to have had the good fortune of working with him as OIC of the Regina lab. Bob had a gift for knowing exactly the right things to say and do in any situation - he had the respect and loyalty of all of us at the Regina lab, even allowing for the odd bit of shenanigans that went on - all part of the great lab spirit that surrounded the staff. His death makes me stop and remember just how special people like him are. I hope we all share great memories of Bob.
Take care.

Dear Deanie: It is with great sadness that Anne & I learned of Bob's passing. It was Bob's direction that got me through my understudy time in the Document Section and his expert guidance helped me through my examining years. Not only was Bob a greatly respected NCO but a much cherished friend. Our family still talks of the vacation we took in your little red tent trailer; bet you never knew it could sleep 4 adults, 4 children and a Boston terrier. Laura & David still remember the Christmas Eve Santa came to visit your house on Juniper via 2-way radio - Bob certainly had a great sense of humour. I too remember that great hunting trip to Dutch Creek. Bob's cooking prowess was displayed when he produced tiny dumplings in Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup. Somehow they could never be duplicated at home! Anne & I extend our sincere condolences to you Deanie at this time. Garry & Anne Hewitt

Deanie,
Gail and I were so saddened to hear of Bob's passing yet it only took a few moments for our thoughts to soar back to the many great times we had together in the Edmonton Lab Document Section, the myriad of practical jokes and the memory of the "Myth of St. addidas". I doubt there every has been, or ever will be, a lab with more camaraderie and fellowship than our old gang. Bob was such a great part of that and a wonderful section head. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. ..with love Bob & Gail Dolman.

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I have fond memories of working with him in the old "Regina Lab". He was a great OIC and we all looked forward to his stories of the years he spent in the far north. He was an excellent role model and truly an inspiration to all of us.

I was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. I always enjoyed listening to his stories and found him to be a very captivating man. I know my grandmother (Hazel Cerney) was very fond of him and always enjoyed his visits to her home. I'm hoping they have reconnected and are once again enjoying those visits that she always treasured. Bob, you will be sorely missed! All the best and our well wishes to you Doreen at this time.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bobs' passing. Betty and I send our most sincere condolences to Doreen and all of Bobs' family. He burned a very bright and lasting memory in my mind and was one of the most sincere people I have ever known. I especially recall a hunting trip to Dutch Creek and his bout with the mumps at an age that made them an uncomfortable disorder. His laugh and sense of humor, his honesty and ethics and his friendship will be missed by many many people. Rest in peace Bob.

So sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He and Doreen were clients of mine for many years. I always enjoyed my interaction with Bob who was a stickler for neatness which accountants liked because it kept the fees down. RIP Bob
