So sorry to hear of Barbs sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you Larry and family. When I think of Barb I think of times spent at the gold claim and how you both welcomed Guy and I into your home as friends of Clayton's.

Larry, Clayton,Marjorie and family:
There are no words that help the sorrow we all feel. I will miss my birthday phone call, our chats, How will I solve the worlds problem now? you always asked how are the girls and we would get into my family then yours and how proud and lucky to have such wonderful kids not to miss how great the grandkids are, oh and yes who will I talk about how our kids were safe to play over at the park until dark. who will listen to me say I still felt bad the day I missed that play that cost us the game and you always having just the right words said Vicky if I had pitched a perfect game you would not have had to worry about that. The ball trip chats. Wasn't that Margene that thought of that go go girl name ? we were never sure .We talked of what our name would be now and laughed. That new years eve dictionary charade game. you were the smartest team mate I ever had for that game , you were a wizard at words. The meeting in Creston for lunch. The battle of the diet talk, we thought maybe duct tape and you figured that would never stop us tough old gals. The talk of the crazy cloud watching talk. So Vicky what have you seen up there of late. Oh and there is a place in the UK if you want to go online there are lots of cloud watchers you would say. The very spiny flower arrangement you did for me, when I called to thank you and you made a comment you will always remember me when you touch those prickly parts. Yes I will always remember you Barb. That plant does have a very special place in our home. We had intentions of coming to see you and Larry this Saturday but never for this reason. There are so many wonderful times we shared Barb. I will miss you.
RIP my dear friend.

Our deepest condolences the the Foster family. I was fortunate to have serve on the Kimberley Knights board of director's with Barb and remember the many incredible news articles she wrote for the hockey club over the years. As a young child growing up in Marysville delivering the news paper to their home and being greeted with a warm smile. One could never forget going to the Purcell Park ball field and watching Marysville's Go Go Girls softball team as Barb was one of the star players!
With fond memories,
Mike Waites and family

Larry! Len and I were so saddened to hear about Barb. We knew she was not well but it was still a terrible shock. Just know you are in our main thoughts today for sure; we can't stop thinking about you both ... all the good times we had in the past, the camping, all those get togethers and the shared laughs we had. You were wonderful friends through thick and thin over the years. I regret we haven't kept in touch over this time the way we should have, life is so short and there is no going back. You are such a special couple and we are very fortunate to have called you both our friends. We will see you on Saturday at Barb's Celebration of Life and it truly is a life that will be remembered with happy memories...for all who knew her. Sending hugs! Mary Lou and Len Westnedge

My deepest sorrow to the Foster family. As a child I can always remember running through Barb's yard to get to the park to play. She always had a kind word and smile and just recently shared those going through the hospital lobby. . I can remember her talents as a ball player too. There is a little part of me that grew because of many of the adults in Marysville who influenced me as a child, Barb was one of those. I'm deeply moved by this loss. Donna Grainger (Hryciuk)
