:) its funny the world has its ways of turning so that we get dizzy and loose top of ourselves whenever it happened for me she was there to put me back at square 1 i met her when we were children as embarrassed to say it was at dance class and a summer program , no matter what she did or who she was with she knew that i cared allot and would look for her ,this last year has been long without chasing somebody around everywhere worrying all the time ,and maybe those stressing thoughts were what kept me balanced i hope she is resting beautifully <3 SHILO BIRDSTONE :)

I remember when Amaya and I were kids, we would fight sooo much. but we would make up less then a day later, then we were besties again! we have been close since we were soo little, and i miss her everyday of my life.

she was 12 when I first met her through my own children at the pool. Her mother would watch my children before I gained custody of them. I went to the pool and my kids introduced me to her. Thats when she and my kids tried to drown me (all in fun). She would say you can't dunk me so I would then she'd say she was not ready. I told off a snoby life gaurd who said that Amaya was over bearing, in my eyes she was just having fun and I thought it was great. The sparkle in her eye and the smile on her face was amazing. I will always remember her like that. KAN

I am so sorry for your loss. Amaya was so special and loving. Losing a child is pain. So high, you can't get over it. So low, you can't get under it. So wide you can't get around it. You must go through that door. But you will not go alone. Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. Amaya almost single handedly co-ordinated 2011s Make A Stand Against Bullying Rally in Cranbrook. Although everyone went to the wrong park, the rally was a huge success. Amaya stood up for what she believed in, even if others were against her. <3
