Obituary of Stephan John Atchison

1937 - 2011

Held closely with love and gratitude by his family, Steph, honoured brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and best friend has peacefully gone ahead of us. On Monday, October 31, 2011 Steph passed away in his home on Eagle Crest Farm in Wycliffe, British Columbia. As always, setting a gentle example. You were tranquil among those who cared for you. Your going was sheltered. Your welcome is assured. Beannacht Anam Cara.

Steph was born on December 22, 1937 in the old St. Eugene Hospital in Cranbrook, British Columbia. He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife of 52 years Gerri, three daughters Barb Campbell (Jeff), Chris Hurley (Bill) and Jennifer Atchison (Brad); five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Steph also leaves his brother Whit (Carol) Atchison and a large loving and appreciative extended family.

A Celebration of Steph's life will be held at McPherson Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
