Dear Cheryl, Ken and Families,
Your Mom came to be a treasured person in my life when we were 'across the alley' neighbours way back in the early sixties. In the 50 years that have passed since those slower, more peaceful days many things have changed...We all moved and were not so closely in touch...but some things never change and your Moms unwavering committment to her home and open-hearted service to all she held dear is a candle she lit to shine for us all...
And so it was a gift to me when I re-connected with your Grace at the Green Home. We had many a good visit re-membering those days of doing and growing and learning...Remember her well...Tell her story and her stories to the young ones in your lives...Her physical presence will be missed but I believe that remembering her well will be a great legacy and she will not be lost to us...
Go safely...Go well...You are being held closely...
