Obituary of Florence Hannah Kelly

Florence Hannah Kelly 1935 - 2015 It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Florence Hannah Kelly, on October 15, 2015. Hannah was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England on September 15, 1935, the daughter of John and Florence Murphy. She was united in marriage to John Kelly on October 5, 1957, recently celebrating 58 years of marriage together. Hannah and John emigrated to Canada on June 6, 1970 with their children, making Fernie their home for 34 years before moving to Cranbrook in 2004 in retirement. A woman of devout faith, Hannah was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cranbrook and a member of the Catholic Women's League. She was an active volunteer of her church community right up to her passing. Hannah is survived by her husband John Kelly, children John, Sharon, Pat, and Shirley, as well as grandchildren, Julia, Phoebe and Jack. She was predeceased by her daughter Ann Marie (2013).
