Obituary of Frank Jacob Wernitznig

Frank Jacob Wernitznig 1946 - 2015 Frank Wernitznig passed away on September 27, 2015 in Cranbrook after a long battle with prostate cancer at 69 years of age. Frank was born on May 15, 1946 in Cranbrook. He retired from Galloway lumber after serving many years in the industry. Frank was a proud father and loving man with a heart larger than most. Frank is survived by his son Jacob, sisters Lucia and Susan Dunlop (Grahame), nephew Justin Dunlop (Sarah), and niece Meghan Hatala (James). He was predeceased by his father Jacob Wernitznig, mother Frances Wernitznig and his wife Cherry Wernitznig. A memorial service for Frank was held on October 2, 2015 at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook.
