Mary Patricia Winstanley (nee Frost)

1919 - 2011

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Mary Patricia Winstanley announces her peaceful passing on Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Pines in Kimberley, British Columbia at 92 years of age.

Mary was born on June 28, 1919 in Cranbrook, British Columbia to one of Cranbrook's pioneering families. Mary enjoyed a long involved and happy career as a teacher in the Cranbrook School District. After retirement, Mary spent many joyful hours writing short stories and poetry and tending to her garden. She loved socializing with friends and family and enjoyed good conversation.

Mary is survived by her loving son Thomas Edward Winstanley, her daughter Patricia Mary Alice Juozaitis, and two loving grandchildren Daniel Joseph Oliver Juozaitis and Tamara Helena Veronica Juozaitis. She was predeceased by her loving husband Oliver Joseph Winstanley and her son Guy Oliver Winstanley.

At Mary's request, there will be no funeral service.
