Obituary of Winnifred Josephine Spring

1919 - 2012

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Winnifred Josephine Spring announces her passing on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 92 years of age.

Josie was born in Bambury, England on November 4, 1919 and immigrated to Canada in 1920. She met and married Frank Spring Sr. in Rossland, British Columbia and they settled in Cranbrook in 1952. Family was everything to Josie and she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren each and every day.

Josie is survived by her children Virginia Spring, Sherry Spring, Frank (Leanna) Spring, Danny (Marg) Spring, Derek (Judy) Spring, her grandchildren Tracy Picha, Corey (Katie) Spring, Micheal Picha, Melanie Spring , Jason (Katherine) Spring, Patrick (Melanie) Spring, David (Charlotte) Spring, Devon Trenchard, Kylee Dougall, Jenna Spring, Talus Dougall, Tyler Spring, her great grandchildren Taylor Pinch, Sidney Pinch, Camryn Spring, Carter Spring, Braden Trenchard, Jaimee Spring, Jonah Spring, Jack Spring, Samuel Spring, Liam Trenchard, Will Spring and Dexter Spring, and her sister Eunice Spring of Victoria, British Columbia. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Spring Sr.

Prayers for Josie will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 7:00 pm. Her funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
