Obituary of Elizabeth Bernadeen Sims

Elizabeth Bernadeen Sims "Bernie" 1924 - 2016 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Elizabeth Sims announces her passing on Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Cranbrook, BC at 91 years of age. Bernie was born on November 14, 1924 in Killam, Alberta. She and her husband Arne resided in Montrose, BC until the early 1980's when they moved to Cranbrook. Bernie is survived by her sons Jim (Wendy) Sims and Ron Sims, brothers Hugh (Shirley) Doherty and David (June) Doherty, sister Theresa (Harvey) Mcauley, son-in-law Jim Sims, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and caring neighbours and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Arne Sims, daughter Shirley Sims and daughter-in-law Cherrie Sims. There will be no service at Elizabeth's request.
