Goldie was mine and my sister's grade 5 teacher at Blarchmont elementary and we both have many fond memories of her. I remember one time during a spelling test, she gave all the students a break and asked them to take out the song books to sing the rainbow connection, and she played the piano. She was a thoughtful lady and excellent teacher.

Goldie played the organ for my mother's funeral. I knew her for a number of years, through the Lutheran church! She was the E.K. choir director for installation & other events years ago. We enjoyed visiting at their home in Kimberley. We were also friends with Harvey. Goldie enjoyed her pet dog! She had a lovely singing voice and smile! Our thoughts and prayers are with their son & extended family at this difficult time. May fond memories help. In friendship & caring, Irene & Gordon
