Obituary of Glen Harold Regan
April 20, 1935 - February 7, 2012
Glen was born on April 20, 1935 in Kamloops, B.C.,Glen passed away peacefully at East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the age of 76. Glen was well known in our community, having moved to Cranbrook from Kamloops in the 70's. He had many friends and a large support network of caregivers from the various homes that he lived in and programs that he attended. Glen worked at the Wood Factory along with his friends for the duration of time that it was open. Many people loved and cared about him and especially remember his great sense of humour.
Glen is survived by his sister Beryl (Cookie) Rundberg, of Invermere, B.C., and several nieces and nephews. Also remembering Glen are friends and staff from the Cranbrook Society for Community Living, particularly the residents and staff of the 7th Street Home. Glen was predeceased by his brother Vern, his parents, his sister Lola, his brother-in-law Joe and his sister Beulah.
Thank you to Dr. Lowden and Dr. Joubert for the many years of care given to Glen.
A Memorial Service for Glen will be held at the Community Living Center at 1402 - 1st Street South, Cranbrook on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 at 10:30 am. If desired, donations in memory of Glen can be made to the Cranbrook Society for Community Living.
