1922 - 2012

It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our father, grand father and great grand father Leonard Eric Alexander Farrow on Friday, February 24, 2012.

Len was born May 23, 1922 in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan where he farmed and ran a dance hall. In 1956 Len moved to Cranbrook with his 2 daughters Edith and Wilda. There he meet Jean Fields and her daughter Debbie and they were married on August 25, 1956. Len lived on Little Van Horn for a number of years then moved to Slaterville. He worked for Kennelly's Brothers then Crestbrook and lastly at the HoFert Christmas Tree Farm. He moved to King St. in 1973 where he loved raising animals especially pigs. Len loved to dance and party. He will be missed dearly by his best friend of more than 50 years, Arthur Malberg. In his later years Len could be found in his vegetable garden growing what ever would grow. He was a hard worker and great story teller.

Len is survived by his daughters Edith (Bill) Montgomery of Quesnel, Wilda (Dave) McLaughin of Edmonton, Brenda (Pius) Csobot of Edmonton, Debbie Fariclough of Cranbrook, son Bruce (Charlene) Farrow of Cranbrook, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
