Obituary of Meaghan Shelley Kathleen Brown

On July 25th 2016, two days before her 28th birthday, Meaghan Shelley Kathleen Brown tragically died in a traffic accident in Trail, BC. She is survived by her partner Jason Hancock and his daughter Meghan Hancock and by her parents Paddy and Sue Brown of Kimberley, BC and her loving sister Sarah Brown of Calgary, AB. Grandmother Pauline Brown of Calgary and Nanny and Poppa Don and Caroline Bacon of Calgary as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. All are mourning this terrible loss. Meaghan was born and raised in Calgary and graduated from Lord Beaverbrook High School. She moved to Kimberley with her parents in 2009. In 2011 she moved to Trail for a job with Safety Net Security and met her partner in life and love Jason and daughter Meghan (lovingly referred to as "little Meggie"). She just recently accepted a job at Teck Metals where she was looking forward to a rewarding career. She loved animals especially dogs and will sorely be missed by Kallie, a collie cross she adopted a year ago. There will be a celebration of life on Tuesday, August 2nd 2016 at the Kimberley Conference Centre, 290 Star Blvd. N, Kimberley, BC, at 2:00 pm. Purple was Meaghan's favourite colour so if you could bring or wear something purple it would be lovely.
