Obituary of John Allan Ritchie
1927 - 2012
It is with deep sorrow that the family of John Allan Ritchie announces his passing on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 85 years of age, in Cranbrook, British Columbia.
Al was born on February 25, 1927 in Rolling Green, Alberta. He was a patient man who loved his family. Spike learned to ride his first Harley at 15 years of age. He had a passion for riding and could often be seen on his Harley Davidson and Indian motorcycles. Al leaves behind his loving wife Elinor, his daughter Heather Ritchie and her sons Scott and Shaun, and his son Ed Ritchie and his daughters Danielle and Jenesse. He was predeceased by his father John Ritchie and his mother Esther Laura Krougher.
A memorial service for Al will be held at McPherson Funeral Home Chapel in Cranbrook on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm. His Interment will take place in Westlawn Cemetery.
