We had a lot of fun times over the years from working with Don out of the Franklin river logging camp on Van. Island to all of the camping and parties at Horseshoe, to working with him at the pulpmill. Donald was a guy who would never ask for help with anything, and was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be missed. Rest in peace Carter. Rob and Cindy Stevely

My sincere condolences to Don's family. I knew Don through my brothers Rob and Ian Stevely. We lost Ian last year in a motorcycle accident. Rob and Ian both have known Don for many years. So sorry for your loss. Don's challenges are over now. May he rest in peace. Cheryl Leite

many happy memories and laughs over the years with don. riding with him on one of his last motorcycle rides, dancing, getting teased because i didnt do such a good job driving the boat on kootenay lake. i treasure the gifts he gave me from his many trips overseas. often his courage has been an inspiration to me. im so grateful i got to be at both his christmas and birthday parties. his struggle is over, ours is to accept this world with a wonderful soul no longer here. my condolences to his family.
