I will remember the good times that Marian spent with us in Calgary going to the Ukrainian Festivals, Dinners and Dances and spending time with her grand-daughters making pysanky. She was so very proud of them. Marian loved gardening and flowers and reading. She shared many stories and memories with us of her trips with the Cranbrook Girls Bugle Band. Also she really enjoyed her trip to the Cook Islands and New Zealand with family and always encouraged me to travel there. A memory I have of her on a family trip to Disneyland, when watching fireworks one night, she and I were both crying and hugging, because she was missing Heidi so much. She is with her now. Will miss you Marian....

My love and prayers go out to Marian's family and especially her grand-daughters. Marian and I were schoolmates and we chummed together for several years. Marian and I were one of the first four flag majorettes at the back of the Girls Bugle Band under the direction of Mrs. Metcalfe. We spent many hours practicing and making up "sets", which I believe is when we started chumming together. Band was a special time for all of us. We learned alot. We lost track of each other when we each went our separate ways after we graduated. I was sorry to hear that Marian suffered so many losses in her life. May she rest in peace. I know that her family who passed before her, were waiting on the other side to welcome her with open arms. Rest in peace Marian. Cheryl Leite (nee Stevely)

My love and prayers go out to each one of you, especially Marion's grand-daughters, Skylar and Zoey. I knew Marion from school and I also worked with her at BC Tel. It was wonderful seeing her at the Clinic and saying a quick hi. I always remember a special birthday of hers with a sign outside to announce it. You were suppose to hit your horn but I couldn't help going in and wishing her a Happy Birthday in person. She was such a nice person. I am so sorry for loss. Marguerite Burgess
