Always good to have a visit with Jim at Joseph Creek. He would be in good spirits and smiling. I would give my regards from his old friend Don Oakley who is from Cranbrook but lives in the U.S. Sorry that Gordon & i missed the Remembrance Service.
In friendship & Caring, Irene Kaun

Jim was a friend of mine since the 1980s - Cranbrook will miss him and so will I.

Very saddened to have heard of your Dad's passing...
I have a good many memories of having a beer (he enjoyed making his own beer) and playing cribbage with your dad.
Joy & I also have some memories of the many meals we ate and shared together. Joan did most of the cooking, but , he loved grilling and I remember one time he grilled corn on the cobb which was delicious.
He loved to garden and I hold some memories of helping him with his weeding and strawberry & raspberry picking.
We rebuilt the fence together in the back yard.
He was a good man and what I remember the most about him was he was usually always smiling. He was joyful with a quirky sense of humour that always cracked you up.
Always looked forward to a good laugh!
Thinking of you all.
Love & peace.
<3 Genevieve
