Obituary of Joseph Allan Gyurkovits

Joseph Allan Gyurkovits Joseph Allan Gyurkovits, age 59 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, January 21, 2019 after a short and aggressive battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived his wife Karen, three daughters, Jenna (Jesse), Jessica (Matthew), Chelsea and his sister, Donna. He will be lovingly remembered by his four granddaughters Evelyn, Rosie, Holly and Wren. Joe was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending his time hunting, fishing and camping. This love for the outdoors led to a thirty five year long career managing the local Provincial Parks. A celebration of life BBQ will be held this spring. In lieu of flowers, Joe wished that donations be made to the Jr. Fish and Wildlife Scholarship in Memory of Orin Hoglund or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
