Our family was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Lorrie. She touched the lives and warmed the hearts of everyone she met. Words cannot express how grateful we are that we had the pleasure of knowing such a wonderful woman. Lorrie was a beautiful, free-spirited woman who could make you smile no matter how you were feeling; she had a certain atmosphere about her that made you want to love life as she did. Every moment spent with her was truly a blessing.Amanda was closest to her out of the three of us. She remembers going to Cranbrook with Rick and Shelley to do Easter egg hunts and other fun things with Lorrie. Amanda spent a lot of time with Lorrie when she was just a little girl, it meant a lot to her to have someone who cared for her in the special way that Lorrie did.Lorrie was an amazing person with qualities we will never forget. Lorrie will be intensely missed by all of us. That bright smile that lit up the room, her cheerful personality, how inviting she was, and how much she cared for everyone will remain with us forever. We offer our deepest sympathy to Lorrie's family and those close to her. She will forever be in our hearts.

To Lorrieâ??s FamilyPlease accept my Deepest Sympathy. Lorrie will be sadly missed and very fondly remembered by anyone who knew her. I worked with Lorrie at College of the Rockies. She brought a special sparkle and life to the not only the classroom, but the hallways and staff room. She always had a smile ready and a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. She was dedicated to her students and very supportive and caring to all college staff. I was privileged enough to share many fun and memorable giggle fits with Lorrie over the years. One particular time, she had us all laughing so hard we were crying at our professional development sessions out at Fort Steele. In fact whenever I would meet Lorrie by chance in town, we would always end up talking about Fort Steele and the great fun we had. Lorrie also shared many wonderful family experiences with me, she was very proud of her family. Lorrie was indeed one very special lady who truly loved everyone unconditionally. I will always smile when I think of Lorrie and the wonderful stories that she shared with me. I will also remember her beautiful smile, her contagious laughter and her mischievous sparkling eyes. I am thankful that I was able to have Lorrie as a co-worker and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad timeTerry Hockley
