It is with great sorrow that the family of Verna Lorraine Lane announce her passing at home with her family by her side on February 21, 2009 at 69 years of age.

Lorrie leaves behind her loving husband Ardelle of Cranbrook, British Columbia; children: Patti (Kirk) Graham of Chandler, Arizona; Shelley (Rick) Priebe of Linden, Alberta; Robin (Cindy) Lane of Abbotsford, British Columbia; grandchildren: Zachary Graham; Phannary, Davmaney and Bunya Priebe; Jaenjira and Alyssa Lane; sisters: Bea (Keith) Walker; Marlaine (Ron) Sirois; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Lorrie will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honour of Lorrie may do so to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. Oncology Department, 13 - 24th Street North, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 3H9.
