1972 - 2009
Dwayne Jackson Mahon passed away after an untimely motorcycle incident in Cranbrook, BC, on Wednesday, July 01, 2009.
Born on October 03, 1972; he was just 36 years of age. He was raised and went to school in Cranbrook, until his teenage years at which time his family moved to Alberta where he finished his schooling years. He met and married his wife Jenn and together they have 3 wonderful children: Kayla, Bradey, and Shanna. They lived and worked in Calgary awhile, then moved and settled in Pincher Creek, AB to work and raise their family. He and Jenn separated a couple of years ago, but remained very good friends. He recently moved back to Cranbrook.
Dwayne spent most of his life working in construction operating heavy machinery, and proved to be a very great operator of almost any type of machinery he touched and he loved it. In this chapter of his life he then settled and lived in Calgary, AB for a few years. He also loved older cars and motorcycles, of which he had a few. He loved family get togethers for BBQ's, re-unions, sledding, or any excuse really!
He was pre-deceased last year by his grand-mother (Betty Bradley) and his uncle (Glenn Bradley).
He leaves behind to celebrate his life with very very heavy hearts; his 3 children: Kayla, Bradey, and Shanna; his parents: Pat and Cherry Mahon, 1 brother: Douglas, 2 sisters: Tammy and Tricia. Dwayne also has 8 nieces, 1 nephew, as well as many aunts and uncles that will miss him greatly.
We will all miss his great sense of humor, his light-hearted wit, and his killer smile.
Dwayne was very liked by many, and very loved by more. He will be sadly missed, forever loved, and NEVER forgotten by everyone whose heart he touched.
Visitation for Dwayne will take place from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 followed by his funeral service at 2:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook.
