I first met Moe in Mica and then worked with him all his time in Prince George. I was a fellow dispatcher. It was always great working with Moe, always pleasant. One of the better people that I have met in my life, and there are not many I can say that about. No more outages and distribution to work Moe. Hope you got all those twist ties counted. Nick

I was sad to hear the news of Moe's passing. I worked with Moe at NCC in Prince George. He was a pleasure to work with and had a great sense of humor. No matter what was going on Moe always seemed to have a smile and a story to share. He will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time.

I am so saddened by the passing of your father. Moe was truly one of the most honest, pleasant and straight forward person I have ever known. I always enjoyed coming to work when he was on shift - he brightened even the darkest days. He was a breath of fresh air in a too serious world. There are so many funny and lighthearted memories. Moe's happy face stickers can still be found in the most inconspicuous places! Not only a very diligent and knowledgeable system operator, Moe was extremely well liked by all those he worked with and, although we were happy for him, we missed him not being at work the day after he retired. Even after leaving work, he was on many people's minds. I am regularly asked by those he has worked with about his well being. We all hoped the best for him. I used to spend quite a bit of time working late at the control centre when Moe was on night shift. We would talk about lots of things past and present. He often spoke very highly and proudly of his immediate and extended family. There is absolutely no doubt that he loved you all and knew that you cared for him. I am glad to have known Moe and very sorry for your loss.

To Tina, Lisa, Miranda, David, and Daniel and families, we would like to express our deepest sympathy to you all. We may have not known your "Papa Moe" very well, but the way Miranda had talked about him, we felt we had actually really knew him. It is always very difficult to lose someone you care about and love with all your heart, but knowing that they are no longer in pain or suffering is always a peace of mind. Miranda and Daws, if you need anything, just call on Mariah or myself as we're always there if you need us. Take care and remember that the memories you have will always remain in your hearts forever. As time goes by, it will heal the loss you feel in your hearts. Take care.

I first met Moe in 1976 when I started with BC Hydro. From the very first, two things were obvious: Moe was a great person and his family was number one. In 1998, I was delighted to hear Moe would be joining our crew at NCC. Vella and I have enjoyed his great sense of humour, colourful personality and friendship. We were lucky to visit him in Cranbrook at his suite built especially for him. It was always clear how much his family loved and cared for him, and he felt the same for them.Moe was one of those people you feel instantly accepted and at ease with. Over the years, we felt he was part of our extended family. We will think of him often when ordering unique entres when dining out. We offer our support and condoldences to the family.

I only met Moe on a couple of occasions in Prince George. The 2nd time was at his humble home in Red Rock where displays of family photos & memorabilia were "front row and center". His greatest admiration, I felt, was for his beautiful children and grandchildren. May his heart and soul rest in peace and what a blessing to have loved so deeply!

I met Moe in 1976 in Mica Creek. To his family your Dad (Papa) was one of the nicest men I've ever known. I loved working with him, he was an excellent Dispatcher and fun to work with,he loved to laugh. I visited Moe at his home in Cranbrook, his family that he loved and charished was displayed on one wall in his living room,he was so proud of each of you. When ever I thought of Moe, I would smile and even know as I think of him I smile but through a tear of sadness, I will miss him. Your dad had great faith and he is home with Jesus and I know it is his wish that all of family will be there with him some day. So be strong in your faith in Christ, your dad is alive and well in heaven.Sharon and I would very happy if your in the area,if you would stop in for a coffee and a visit. Malakwa is between Sicamous and Revelstoke.God Bless Moe's FamilyDel and Sharon Gerry

Sincere sympathy and kind thoughts are with you all, at this time on the passing of your beloved Father and Grand-Father or as frequently known as "Papa Moe".I had worked with Moe for several years at the B.C. Hydro EKC control centre, and during this time we were good friends, had many in depth conversations and discussions, while on shift. Moe was usually my relief dispatcher and he always liked a good cup of coffee, especially on night shift, and it had to be Strong Coffee or he would let you know.Moe was a great person to have worked with, he had a wonderful personality, and a good outlook on life, a great father, thought the world of his family, and will be missed by everyone who knew him personally. He was an inspiration to us all, and will be missed.Don and Marlene Prust

I first met Moe in 1977 when we shared a ride to an apprenticeship course in Vancouver. I drove in from Mica to Vernon Moe and I drove down to the coast.I was transfered to Cranbrook in 1987 and Moe and I worked at the East Kootney Control center until 1998 when BC Hydro shut it down. Moe went north and I moved to Vancouver island. I enjoyed working with Moe. With Moe what you saw is what you got. Honest and fun loving guy. Great laugh. I know he will be sadly missed. All my best to you all.

Although Mo was only with us for a short time I was very blessed to get to know him even if only just a little bit. He was such a caring, gentle man and loved you all so much. When he would share with me about his family it was easy to see how proud he was of you all! This past year was such a struggle for him, but he was never one to complain in spite of the suffering he went through. I came to love Mo and will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. I believe you'll be together again one day in a place where there are no tears!Georgi
