I was just a teenager when Betty and Art moved in next to my family in 1955 . They both became so much more to me than nieghbours or aquaintences . They were my very best friends . They became mentors to me and shaped my life . Their kids , all , were close to me --and still are in my mind to this day ! I could express my feelings for Betty ( and Art ) for ten pages of this tribute wall but of course I cannot do that . This was an amazingly beautiful lady , very smart , very intelligent and so very friendly and sociable with everyone she came into contact with . I always thought of her as one of the sociable prominant people in Cranbrook although she would be the first to say she was just one of the rest of us . Who could not have loved Betty ! She raised an amazing and beautiful family and we are so proud of her for that .
My love and condolenses go out to all her sons & daughter and their families !!
