You and your family were a huge part of my life when we moved to Cranbrook in the early 80's being our new neighbors, then with the family business you and Phyllis shared with my parents for several years. I always held you dear to my heart, as you were much like family to me. Love you Ron!
My deepest condolences to all the family

Dear Kevin,Karen and family,
Where to start?! Your Dad (and my favorite uncle!) was a truly special man. As a kid, I remember him as being fun-loving and "cool"; he and your Mom were just "hip" ! Though distance separated us, talking over the phone or enjoying a visit with them was like settling into a favorite armchair----just so comfortable and welcoming! Uncle Ron was always supportive and understanding of whatever the situation, and so easy to talk to. He never failed to bring great joy with his terrific sense of humor and a clear sense of his love for us! He was SUCH a loving man! I will greatly miss his "hugs" on his emails, his silly jokes, his warm and tender voice on the phone, and his often expressed sense of optimism regardless of his suffering. He so loved his mountain home and once told me he would never move, so I am so happy that he did not have to suffer for a great length of time in a nursing home or the like. Uncle Ron--I'm glad you're in a better place now, but I know the mountains, the hummingbirds, Stanley, and all of your many friends and your terrific family miss you, as do I. So long to the father I wish I had....loved you so much, and thanks for what you gave us. (and thanks so much for coming all the way to California to my wedding! -that meant a lot!)
Love to all.....Uncle Ron will be missed tremendously,
Gail(neice), Mike and Heather Davis--Texas
