Hi Linda, Darlene sent me David’s obit otherwise I would not have known of his passing. I am sorry that he has gone and I extend my condolences and sympathy. I always liked him because of his willingness to be unconventional and to be his own person. He did have many challenges in his life because if things beyond his control but without the loving support of his family they would have been much worse. He could not have had better parents or sister. Thinking of you and Steve. Stay healthy. Ken

Dave was in my home room class in grade 8. I remember him as a nice friendly kid that always had a greeting and a smile for everyone. I'm sorry to hear of his passing and the struggles he had in life.

My condolences to Daves Family, As a life long resident of Kimberley and working out of Cranbrook I often ran into Duke around town, most typically in or around Denny’s. We always reminisced of his early years in Kimberley and his sports days playing hockey and ball with my older brothers. I had the pleasure of watching him play both sports myself. He was always interested in the well being of all my many siblings and my parents as well. I will miss my chats with Duke, he was always kind, engaged and a pleasure to run into, even though at times it was obvious he was dealing with his own personal challenges. May you Rest In Peace Duke ! Mike Dolighan
