I was saddened when I heard of Jim's passing and my heart went out to you Jeannette. I am so glad I got to know you both through the Bisset Choir and enjoyed watching Jim defend the wild rose party to my fiesty liberal mother. I did go out and buy some hagen daz ice cream bars as my own special memorial to him. I do remember him fondly and know that you are being supported by family, friends and your faith. Dear Jeannette and family, I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing! He has been taken much too soon. I was so honoured to have known him and your family for so many years. He was such a nice man. I've known him since I was a teenager when he was our leader at Young Peoples at the First Baptist Church. We were young and stupid and he was a non-judgemental adult that could give advice and guidance while treating us with respect. Many years later I got to deal with him as an adult and I was always impressed by his calm demeanour and warm personality. Please know that he will always be remembered and that he made a difference in many lives. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
