We will miss Garfield when we resume normal church services. Always sitting up front, always smiling. He enjoyed his cookies and celebrating his birthday every week. Rest in peace, dear brother.

I remember Garfield from years ago. Interesting, that I was just thinking about him the other day. He was always so friendly and would talk to anyone who would give him the time. I remember seeing him at the United Church when I would go with my Dad. He was a lovely man. RIP

I am so sorry to see this. Garfield was a wonderful person. He always had time to stop and chat and would always recognize me even though we were never formally introduced. Instant friends. He was a beautiful soul and I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

Garfield was a great guy. I met him approximately 40 years ago at the United Church. Whenever he would see me on the street he would say, "I know you!" ...and always with a big smile. Garfield and Morley and the rest of the crew would accompany us on lake stockings once a year. It was always fun and they enjoyed the experience so much. Rest in peace, my friend....say Hi to Morley for me. Laird Siemens

So sad to hear of Garfield's passing. I first met him as a little girl at a church event more than forty years ago. It meant so much to me that he never forgot me. He always had a big smile on his face for me and a friendly wave. I will miss him dearly.
