My deepest condolences to Sandy and the girls and extended family. John was larger than life with everything he did and as per the obituary I fondly and forever will remember the pig roasts, skeena river fishing trips and dease lake hunts as I was fortunate enough to enjoy them with him. Of most import was his mentorship at RBC which allowed me to have a similarly significant career and gain many friendships of which John’s was most cherished. It saddens me that we lost touch when he made the move to the Kootenays and of course more so at his passing. No doubt he is sitting at a warm campfire looking down at everyone as he samples some exotic and internal organ of a wild animal. John you were the very best. Sincerely your friend Don.

Sandy my condolences to you and your family. I have fond memories of John both at RBC and in early retirement. Will always remember the many Turkeyies transported before Christmas by the Grayhound Buss. RIP John, I will always have those fond memories of our time together. Dave Jenks.
