I have many fond memories of this amazing outdoorsman. I always loved his laugh, his smile and his amazing outlook he had on life. He always put his family first, even before himself. He always loved “taking the dogs for a walk”. Which to anyone who knew Big T, actually meant…. Chasing them down logging roads in the truck. He always knew where the herds of elk were and had a keen eye for wildlife. The fishing stories are endless, and the hunting ones as well. I’ve learned to always bring an extra car battery while fishing, as when the backup truck battery goes dead, we’re stuck in the bush. I’ve also learned through Big T, that hunting for trucks in the ferry line, isn’t the best of all ideas. Also…. Lighting incense to freshen up the place while your nephew comes to stay with you can be hazardous to your house. There was always an alternate option to get things done with Big T. Not always the most direct way, or easiest way, but there was always a simplified way! I will miss his constant barrage of emails and our random out of the blue chats. I wish we lived closer so I could indulge in the best jerky you’ve EVER had. Your big heart and big memories will ALWAYS be cherished by sooo many family and friends. I truly wanted to come to cast a line at Mary’s lake for ol time sake for his celebration of life. I can hardly wait til the next time I’m out west and can take my kids to epic fishing holes he’s showed me. Not sure I’ll ever be able to find my way to the 49th parallel like he somehow could, but that’s a whole other story. Kelly and Daniel clan…. Plz give everyone a hug for me at the lake. We are with you in mind and spirit as you go through this tough time. Love you so much!
