Connie and family I just heard about Lloyd’s passing while attending our GLHS 50 year reunion, Thursday. I am so sorry for your loss. Lloyd became my first friend when our family moved to Gull Lake, during the summer of 1969. We shared the same interests, in particular history, building models and enjoying the the company of good friends. His friendship brightened my life though our high school years. He was so much fun to be with and could make anyone laugh, no matter how they were feeling. Lloyd is a friend who I shall always remember with great fondness. Jack Elkington

I just saw this. I am so sorry. My heart goes out to Connie and all the family. In my high school years Lloyd a good friend and held me up through some very tough times. It is that friendship that I will cherish forever.

Connie Lloyd made me feel so welcome when I joined the band. Always took the time to talk to me and ensure I was comfortable. I am thinking of you as you have lost the light of your life. Lloyd filled a room with his larger than life presence, but his quiet demeanor. Hugs to you Connie. May your life long memories with him fill your days with laughter when all you want to do is cry. I will miss Lloyd and his warm greeting everytime I saw him. I will miss his jokes and his sense of humor and how he could always bring a smile to your face. His yard was something to behold and he grilled a mean steak! My heart goes out to Connie and the family and to everyone who loved him. Prayers and hugs to you .
