I found out only yesterday of Pat's sudden passing. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. My time with Pat & Deb happened at the MCFD office in Creston. I have fond memories of time spent with both of you. My condolences to you, Deb.

I am so sorry to hear of Pats passing. He was a good man and friend. I have many fond memories of Pat. He always talked about his family and lit up when doing so. He once mailed me a small bottle of Jack Daniel’s the card only said “from you know who”. He loved to debate and share stories about the old days. He loved to discuss ways to improve “everything”. He loved his cabin. He will be missed and the many stories we have to remember him will keep him alive in our hearts. Deepest and sincere condolences to his family. Kemp Redl

I met Pat working at MCFD. I grew up in the East Kootenays so he never held the fact I worked in HQ against me. ;) Pat was warm and comfortable... I do not know how to put it any other way. He walked in the room and you knew you were either going to get a great joke or an amazing story. I am really sad that Pat doesn't get to enjoy ALL the plans he had for his retirement, and that he isn't with his family who he beamed about anytime the subject came up. Rest easy Pat, and save us a seat at the bourbon distillery in the sky.

Deb & Boys, Carolina and I, and our staff are deeply saddened and shocked by Pat’s passing. We wish you all comfort in this difficult time. During Pat’s seemingly weekly visits we enjoyed his laughter and insights! His knowledge, love for gadgets and electronics, positive outlook ,and friendliness were only out weighed by his love for his family. He talked often about how proud he was of his boys!
